In the context of the preparation process of the new ESF intervention period 2007-2013 a concept for integrating the gender mainstreaming strategy systematically into the ESF was prepared. Experiences from the intervention period 2000-2006 were appropriately taken into consideration. Furthermore, recommendations were targeted to the objectives on level of each priority aces and proposals for concrete measures for achieving these objectives were elaborated.
