The evaluation assessed results and success of 65 technology oriented and/or knowledge based start-ups which were coached within the ESF-funded pilot programme while preparing and setting up their business, taking into particular consideration sustainability of the start-ups and their employment effects. Apart from focusing on results and impacts of the pilot programme, the elaboration of recommendations for a further improvement of the programme played a major role in this evaluation project.
