The evaluation refers to results and impacts of measures and projects funded by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees within the framework of the European Integration Fund (EIF) and the European Refugee Fund (ERF) between 2011 and 2013. While the EIF is aiming at improving the integration of recognized asylum seekers, the ERF foresees support for refugees who’s asylum procedure is still running and for refugees with “tolerated” residence status. The evaluation of both funds is based on a common structure developed by the European Commission and refers to different thematic areas such as effectivity, impact, efficiency, transparence, sustainability, coherence, added-value and transfer of good-practices.
