Main objective of the feasibility study for the implementation of the Gender Mainstreaming approach in EAGGF-guidance was the analysis of mechanisms for achieving gender equality objectives in the intervention period 2000-2006. In this context, measures for the renovation of villages and the promotion of rural tourism proved to be of particular interest. On basis of the analysis, proposals for a gender promoting context for planning, management and implementation of the EAFRD 2007-2013 were elaborated.
