Ulrike Kaden is a research associate at ISG since February 2020, conducting evaluations in the areas of labour market, education and social policy. Her research focusses on qualitative research approaches and methodologies. She studied social sciences at Humboldt-Universität Berlin, Sussex University in Brighton and the CUNY Graduate Center. From 2012 to 2015, she was a research associate in the DFG research training group „Critical Junctures of Globlisation“. In 2021, she received her doctorate from Universität Leipzig and Macquarie University, Sydney, with a sociological study of cooperation practices in inner-European borderlands.
