Puxi, MarcoHead of ISG-Berlin Office
Marco Puxi studied economics at the University of Cologne, where he received the degree of Diplom-Volkswirt in 1992. He started his professional career in 1992 as research associate at ISG Cologne (until 1996) and changed to ISG Brussels from 1996 to 1998. Afterwards, he managed the ISG-Office in Dresden from 1998 until 2006. Since 2006 he is the Head of ISG-Berlin Office and responsible for a variety of research and consultancy projects. His research interests are dedicated to national and international labor market related topics, covering active labor market strategies and reforms on National level and the evaluation of programs co-financed by the Structural Funds, especially the European Social Fund (ESF). Other important research activities relate to gender issues, the vocational education and training- as well as the adult education system and studies on programs supporting start-ups and SMEs. As labor market and VET-expert he has also been involved in projects concerning the integration of candidate countries in the EU.
