Katja Seidel, studied Economics at the Christian-Albrechts University Kiel (Diploma, 2011). Between 2012-2014 she worked as a research associate at the Institute for Applied Economic Research in Tübingen. Since 2014 she is writing her dissertation at the Leuphana University Lüneburg (Research focus: Vocational education and training). She joined the ISG in Berlin as a research associate in October 2017. Her research interests are in the field of empirical labor economics and education economics. Her current research activities focus on the evaluation of ESF funded programmes.
