Jürgen Viedenz studied economics at the University of Cologne and the University Hagen. Since 1990 he is working in the field of economic and social research. After being employed at the ISG Cologne from 1990 to 1996 he worked at die WSF Wirtschafts- und Sozialforschung in Kerpen from 1997 to 2002 with a focus on labour market and vocational training research. Since 2003 he is again a research associate at the ISG Cologne. The main focus of his work is on labour market and social policies, in particular the on-going monitoring and the regular reporting of the European Social Fund (ESF) as well as the evaluation of ESF-programs.
